Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops have become more capable, acing our tests of cleaning and tackling a variety of floor types. Find models that let you choose from multiple modes, use their charging docks to self-empty, and clean up stairs.
Many of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Find an app that allows you to save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and alter the behavior of the S1.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which comprises flooring in the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms, as well as carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive close to walls and even cross raised thresholds without issue. However it was a bit difficult navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it was near carpets or rug.
The docking station on the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and replenishes its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated waters prior to each mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to clean the water tank that is dirty regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs' all-in-one robot vacuum and mop is an efficient solution for cleaning. The robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with a variety of advanced features like voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor as opposed to just moving the pad across it. The mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station, if needed.
The robot comes with an easy-to-use interface that guides you throughout the process. It includes a hand vacuum that recharges to reach those areas the robot isn't able to reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and replenished when needed. It also has a range of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that can easily pick up dust and debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation abilities are also decent, but it can be stuck on small area mats and rugs around my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Its mopping capabilities are also quite good with a pair of spinning mops which can lift and scrub the floor, rather than just drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation whenever required. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when needed.
3. robot vacuums reviews 's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. However, their latest flagship model has even more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is simple to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our top list of mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure that an efficient, custom-designed clean is completed.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned our tests' dirtiest areas well, keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other dirt. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by an additional side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation system is nimble that can navigate small spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step. It can move from one room to another without having to change direction. This is a great feature for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a wide margin between obstacles. This can result in missing spots.

The interface of the app is simple and well-organized. It should be simple to use by both novice and experienced users. vacuum bot allows you to plan and manage cleanings, adjust the suction power and mopping settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get real-time video supervision. You'll require a reliable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are excellent at removing dirt and debris, but they can't reach every speck of dust. This is why it's important to use your regular vacuum once every week, and especially to pick up dust in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop designed to do exactly that. It is simple to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and also works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on price by eliminating mopping functions and using a lower-cost plastic body.
Although it's no longer able to wipe your floors, the Q5 still offers the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot at this price. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually each time. It also features a smart application that lets you choose the type of floor and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with a 2700Pa capacity to tackle dirt and pet hair, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested did not show problems with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it was able to not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising because it doesn't contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested, it also uses a unique system to map your home. This will allow it to enter the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. This device also stores dust in a bigger dustbin which means you need to empty it less often. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters, which reduces the cost of using the device. This robot can also detect carpets and boost the suction if required. You can also mark off areas you would like to keep out of the app.
