Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems
This robot vacuum-mop makes a great option for those living in apartments since it uses a smaller docking system and comes with its own trash bin. Its app allows you to set different modes and monitor cleaning as well as the mopping function is impressive.
Its mapping and obstacle avoidance are impressive, as is the fact that it is able to mops extremely well and removes pet hair, spillages and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans and refills its tank.
Roomba Combo from iRobot
The iRobot Combo includes mopping in addition to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. It's not quite enough to take the place of our current Editors' Choice, the Deebot X1 Omni, which scrubs more and has an app that is easier to use on mobile devices but it does make an excellent choice. It consistently picked up dirt from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't among the most advanced in the world, lacking structured light and other technology like LiDAR, but it did a good job of preventing collisions with furniture and clutter.
The Combo has many of the same features that the J7 Plus includes, such as an the onboard acoustic sensor that can determine the floor's type and AI-powered Navigation, however it's not able to control suction power using a hand. It's also slightly less compact than the vac-only model and doesn't include an auto-emptying dock.
In my experience, the Combo is a fantastic choice for homes of all kinds, and its sleek design is easily one of the top in the industry. The clean matte black plastic looks better than most competitors' metallic or glossy finishes, and iRobot's tiny features--like a leather tab that can open the onboard bin and a shelf within the dock that can hold additional bags--are classier than a lot of its rivals'. The iRobot Combo makes it simple to create maps and set up Keep-Out Zones.
Roborock
Roborock, a relatively new player in the robot vacuum and mop industry has already established itself with a suite innovative cleaning technologies. Its vacuums boast industry-leading suction power, while the brand's mopping systems feature vibrating mops that scrub floors to remove dirt. Plus, a wide range of mapping and scheduling options allow you to fine-tune the cleaning schedule of the bot to your home's specific needs.
Roborock's obstacle avoidance feature enables the robot to spot objects that are smaller than its own height. This is especially helpful for the most well-known Roborock models, like the Qrevo Master, which is the best in its class in terms of navigation because of vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been reported to slam into pet waste and slam furniture with no awareness. The Qrevo Master is able to solve this problem by using an AI system called Reactive that uses dual cameras to perceive the objects within the room.
Roborock robots also come with several convenience features that reduce the need for daily maintenance, such as auto-empty docks, as well as multi-functional mop washing stations. They remove the need to manually empty bins and wash mops, making for an entirely hands-free ownership experience. The app is simple to use thanks to its straightforward design and lag-free connection with the robot.

Hobot Legee D8
Hobot Legee, with its extensive variety of integrated cleaning features and advanced mopping capabilities is among the top robot vacuums/mops available for both wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system blends five technologies to plan and follow the most efficient route. It also recognizes different flooring materials and recognise obstacles with precision. It can raise it up to 7mm in order to glide across carpets. Smart spray system makes the right amount of water for stain removal, without leaving water marks.
vacuum bot is an Gen 4 Robot, competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. Both models cost more. It comes with more features than either with a more flexible D-shaped body that can clean the corners and under cabinets better than a round robot. Its sensors include 360deg (3D) (Lidar Encoder Gyro and E-compass) 4 forward-facing sensors and one right-side-facing (IR ToF distance sensors) and two pairs of cliff detectors both front and rear (most robots have only one pair). It also includes Legee SLAM, which helps to eliminate the bump-and-grind issues that are a problem for Gen 4 robots.
Unlike most other robots, unlike other robots, the Legee has an integrated trash compactor that is compatible with the less noisy 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. The LuLu mop washing station comes included and washes, refills and dries your mop's 'cloth. This means that you can use it up to six times longer than other mops. It also reduces waste and the frequency at which bins are empty.
Karcher RCV 5
Karcher is a household name for its gardening tools and pressure washers, has been dabbling with robot vacuums for some time. This is the most advanced model from the brand. It is powered by LiDAR and creates maps of your home that can be programmed to mop or vacuum. It can also detect the difference between hard floors and carpets, so that you don't end up with water puddles on your precious pile.
Its navigation is top-notch that can avoid carpets and furniture with ease and even lifting itself up over steps. The machine is customizable with different settings, including cleaning schedules and rooms it will be cleaning. It also has a handy 'emergency' button that will force the robot to return to base in the event that it is unable to supply power, and it can be programmed to automatically shut itself off if a storm is approaching.
The RCV 5 is very easy to use, and despite being quite heavy at nearly 4kg, you won't have any trouble maneuvering it around furniture. Safety features like a sensor that alerts you to avoid stairs will be appreciated by parents with small children. After charging it takes only a few hours to recharge and the two buttons at the top will flash green to let you know it is ready for action.
Mova E30 Ultra
The Mova E30 Ultra is a robot vacuum cleaner that blends advanced cleaning technology with affordability. It is a rival to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra and Roborock's Q Revo. Despite its lower price tag, the Mova E30 Ultra offers features that other models cannot match. It utilizes sensors to adjust its settings to different floors and surfaces, and also to detect areas that are less clean and ensure they are given enough attention. It also has the ability to move at a slower speed to avoid damaging delicate furniture or walls.
The device can map the interior of your home, which you can view in the app. You can also mark rooms and objects you would like the vacuum to stay clear from. The vacuum will slow down when it spots an obstacle and stop from bumping into it. It also has a an intelligent dustbin that will notify you when it's empty, so you can empty it in time.
The Mova E30 Ultra offers a cost-effective solution for those who wish to outsource their daily cleaning tasks. It can double as mop and robot vacuum which allows you to keep your floors clean without having to lift a finger. It also features a clever design that boosts the efficiency of cleaning corners by up to 60%. It comes with a suction capacity of up to 7,000 Pa and RoboSwing arm, which can be controlled via the app or voice assistants like Alexa or Siri.
Beko RCV3
The Beko RCV3 is a fashionable and well-equipped hybrid robot vacuum/mop that does a fantastic job of keeping floors spick and span. Although it isn't able to raise its mops on carpets and rugs as the award-winning Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra it's very good at both cleaning hard floors and tackling mopping tasks with a remarkable speed. It comes with a self-emptying bin, a superior level of suction, an array of mopping options, and a premium app that works both on iOS and Android.
It's a little smaller than the other models, and its main brush is a bit shorter however, it did an impressive job in our test room. The edge brush that rotates on the side is a nice addition. Although it wasn't able to remove dirt as well as some of the competitors, it still did a good job.
The robot can be programmed with individual cleaning parameters for each room. It will then create detailed maps using LiDAR's built-in navigation. It's easy to control using the app and a range of voice output options can keep you informed of the status of your home robot. Regular updates to the software enhance and enhance its performance. The application can also be used to remotely manage the RCV3 when you're not at home.
